Message on the occasion of Easter 2009
Greetings to you!!! Christ has Risen!!! Alluelia. CHRIST gave everything He had to all of us: Christ gave his money to Judas; Christ gave his clothes to the soldiers; Christ gave his mother to all of us; Christ gave his body to Joesph of Arimathea; Christ gave his Gospel to the world; Christ gave the Holy Spirit to the Disciples; Christ gave Peace to all of us. Today, through this Feast of Easter, Christ gives a ETERNAL LIFE UNLIMITED... Christ has truly risen... Thanks to all you for your hospitality and kindness. It is still so fresh and vibrant. Kudos to GCO
Hello, My name is Roxanne DeSouza. I am the daughter of Dominic DeSouza, working at Oman International Bank. My mum said I should visit this website. I had no idea about this organization previously, but am very impressed with the website and the content of it. I always thought while growing up in Oman, that there was a lack of social capital in the country, that the people in general were not involved in the community. But looking through your photo gallery I saw a couple of pictures of the beach clean-up done in February. I think this is absolutely amazing that you were able to give back to the community and hope more Goans young and old can unite in such activities. Glancing through your mission and other stuff, I really hope that this group is able to achieve its goals of providing Goan families/individuals support in times of difficulty and in general being a resource to all Goans. More importantly I hope this group can also serve to teach young Goans about the rich culture we have, a lot of which is being lost due to various reasons, even in small ways so that we can all embrace the pride of being GOAN. Finally, I would like to say good luck to everyone working right now to make this group successful and keep up the good work. Roxanne DeSouza.

Dear Managing Committee, Congratulations to the GCO managing committee members on being unanimously elected to the respective offices. The GCO has come into existence through sheer hard work from you and so it was only befitting that the positions you occupy be made official by its members. We hope the members will wholeheartedly render you their unstinting cooperation whenever it will be called for without which, there will be no GCO. Thank you for organizing such a marvelous day from the solemn mass till the end of the celebration in the evening. Judging from the enthusiasm it can be construed that the day was enjoyed by all.
