Goan Stall at Ruwi Church Food Festival

The Goan Community of Oman Managing Committee and Alan D’Costa, the Sts. Peter and Paul Church Parish Council Goan representative, would like to thank all those who contributed their time, dedication, effort and charity towards making the Goan Stall at the Ruwi Church Food festival a resounding success.   The GCO is especially grateful to Sabby Almeida for generating so much of enthusiasm, enlisting so many donors and volunteers, and for organizing the Stall in so colourful and lively a manner.    The GCO applauds the following for the long hours spent in the kitchen and for bearing the heat and fumes so as to prepare the mouth watering Goan delicacies: Mary Menezes, Leila de Souza, Angela Almeida, Anthony & Dorothy Lourence, Ambrose Lobo, Joaquim D’Souza, Vijay & Melissa Gonsalves, Dominic Fernandes, Lester & Shyline Frank, Croyden & Bianca Menezes, Alfred & Guilhermina Misquitta, Mayobelle Misquitta, Flynn & Sandra de Lima, Raul & Ramona Fernandes, Sara Fernandes, Patricia D’Costa, Blessie D’Costa, Maria & Luis Cardozo, Renuka Pednekar, Tyrone & Shalini Henriques, Gene & Francis, Neville & Veronica, Joaquim D’Souza, and Emilia Dias (who, incidentally, takes orders for private parties and snacks at 99644673). Below is the complete list of donors and the items prepared.   The GCO also thanks: For the Sound and Lights – Clifford D’Silva from Music Connection, who brought in Konkani Carols for the occasion.
