The Liturgical Sub-committee of the GCO consists of the following members:

The Liturgical Sub-committee is privileged to have its first Eucharistic Celebration, which will be during the pastoral visit of His Grace Filipe Neri Ferrao, Archbishop Patriarch of Goa in October 2008.  The solemn Eucharistic Celebration in Konkani will be held on Friday 10th October 2008 at 7.15 AM, at the main hall of the Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, Ruwi, Muscat.

The Liturgical Sub-committee looks forward to its next celebration, which will be the feast of St. Francis Xavier our patron saint. This feast will be celebrated on Thursday, 4th December 2008 at 7.00 PM at the basketball court of the Holy Spirit Church, Ghala.  We require members to join the various Ministries of the Liturgy, especially the Lectors Ministry and the Choir Ministry.  Kindly get in touch with one of the members of the Committee if you wish to be part of these Ministries.

The Liturgical Sub-committee will post an intention for the month, which will also include the intention of the Holy Father and the Missions.  You are requested to keep these intentions in mind when you pray, especially during your family prayers.  In case you have any intention that you wish to pray for, please let us know and the intention will be posted on the website and be rest assured that your intention will be prayed for.

In case you have any suggestions to make the Liturgical celebrations more meaningful, prayerful and lively, please do not hesitate to send in the same and the Liturgical Sub-committee will be only to happy to incorporate these, if found appropriate.
